The program also contains an Orthodox church calendar with dates of fasting throughout the year and an apostle for each day of the year. The Orthodox Church calendar automatically adjusts moving holidays and fasts for each year according to Easter.

The Apostle is a liturgical book, which consists of the beginning of the work of the holy apostles and the apostolic epistles.

There are three basic types of Apostles in liturgical use:

Apostle of the full composition in which the text is presented in order from the Acts of the Apostles to the Epistle to the Euphemians. There are a total of 335 conceptions.

The short elective Apostle envisages readings for each day from Easter to Pentecost; namely, the Acts of the Apostles, without individual chapters, and one passage from the Epistle to the Ephesians, conceived for Saturdays and Sundays from Pentecost to Easter Lent, conceived from the Epistle of St. Paul and the epistles, for the Saturdays and Sundays of Easter Lent, for all the days of Holy Week and, in the end, conceived from various epistles.

The full election Apostle has conceptions for all days during the Passover and Spiritual period, for Saturdays and Sundays during Easter Lent, and for each day during Holy Week.

As for the rules of fasting, I leave it to you to agree with your priest or pastor about the rules of fasting.
